Brad Cravens - President
Mr. Cravens is serving his 8th consecutive term on the SISD Board of Trustees. He has served as Board President since 2003, and was Vice President in 2002. He has organized and led numerous strategic planning committees to study long-term district needs, and contributes financial expertise to the board’s budgeting process.
In 1999, Mr. Cravens founded the Sunnyvale Education Foundation (SEF), a non-profit organization that has donated $157,000 in teaching grants to the teachers and students of Sunnyvale School. He served several years on the SEF board, including two years as President. He is a PTA member and a lifetime charter member of the Raider Pride Booster Club (RPBC).
Mr. Cravens has also served his town on the Board of Adjustments and Sunnyvale 4B. He is a church Deacon, and has served as Finance Chair, Adult Sunday School Director, and youth Sunday school teacher. He also volunteers his time to coach youth baseball, football, basketball, and soccer.Linda Gooch – Vice President
Linda currently serves as a director of TASB – representing Region 10. During her tenure as director she has served on the Legislative Committee and as Vice Chair of the By-Laws Committee. Previously, she was a member of the TASB Legislative Advisory Council (LAC) and also served on the Region 10 LAC, TASB School Board Advocacy Network, NSBA Federal Relations Network and NSBA Advocacy Institute.
Gooch, an assistant vice-president for Morgan Stanley, is in her seventh consecutive term on the SISD board, and currently serves as vice-president. In addition, she has served as the board secretary. Linda, has been honored the United States Presidential Volunteer Service award. She received the Honorary Lone Star FFA Degree – the highest degree of honorary membership awarded by Texas FFA Association. Locally, she served on the Town of Sunnyvale Home Rule Committee and helped draft the town’s first charter.
Gooch currently works with the SISD Alumni Association. She has been active in the Sunnyvale Education Foundation as a board member and as its president, and has served the Sunnyvale PTA as the volunteer coordinator. She also was a nine-year coach for one of Sunnyvale’s award-winning Destination Imagination teams. She is also a lifetime member of the Raider Pride Booster Club.Janet Clements - Secretary
Mrs. Clements has served on the SISD Board of Trustees since being first appointed in December 2000. She currently serves as the Board’s representative on the Superintendent’s Roundtable and the District Rating Committee.
Mrs. Clements has been a board member on the Sunnyvale Education Foundation (SEF), and is a charter lifetime member of the Raider Pride Booster Club (RPBC). She has donated extensive hours of service to the Sunnyvale PTA, including serving as president from 1998-2000 and 2009-2011. In 1995, the National PTA honored her service with a lifetime PTA membership. She was also a charter member and remains involved with the Sunnyvale Band Booster Club.
Mrs. Clements has been married to her husband, Neil, for 27 years. They have two children; Neil, Jr. is senior at Dallas Baptist University and Jacob is a junior at SHS.Ryan Finch – Trustee
Mr. Finch is the Director of EHS and Protective Services at Mary Kay Inc., and is serving his first term on the SISD Board of Trustees.Mr. Finch has been actively involved in the Sunnyvale community. He served as the President of the Raider Athletic Booster club for two years and still serves as a Director on the Booster Board. Hehas also served on Sunnyvale Education Foundation's Board and the Town of Sunnyvale’s Board of Adjustment. Mr. Finch is very active in his church and has served on the church’s Board of Directors for two terms.Michael Threet – Trustee
Mr. Threet, Counsel for Haynes & Boone, LLP, is in his third term on the SISD Board of Trustees. He has served on school board committees exploring drug testing policy, high school graduation requirements, and campus and district ratings, and volunteers his legal expertise on new board policies and procedures. He served on the strategic planning committee to study long-term district needs that resulted in the creation of Sunnyvale High School. Mr. Threet supplements his board education with attendance at both TASB state and NSBA national conventions.
Mr. Threet is a lifetime charter member of the Raider Pride Booster Club, a Sunnyvale Education Foundation Board Member, and a member of the PTA. He is an active member of his church and is an ordained Deacon.Kimberly Ingram – Trusteee-mail: email@example.com
Mrs. Ingram is serving her fourth complete term as Sunnyvale ISD Trustee after being appointed to a vacated position in 2007. She has completed TASB’s Boardmanship Basics requirements, and attended two TASB state conventions. She helped organize the district’s groundbreaking ceremony for Sunnyvale High School.
Mrs. Ingram has served in various capacities on the Sunnyvale Education Foundation (SEF), including three years as president. She has served as Sunnyvale PTA’s fine arts chairman, and is a lifetime charter member of the Raider Pride Booster Club (RPBC). A writer and former English and theatre teacher, Mrs. Ingram volunteers her expertise to the board in the area of fine arts. She also serves as a choir, drama, and youth/adult Sunday school teacher for her church.Dr. Joe Quinn, DVM - Trustee
Dr. Quinn will soon begin his 8th term on the SISD Board of Trustees, and, as a practicing veterinarian, has offered valuable guidance as Sunnyvale ISD pilots Texas’ first CTE Veterinary Technician program. He supplements his board education by regularly attending both TASB state and NSBA national conventions.
Dr. Quinn has devoted extensive volunteer hours on behalf of SISD students. He has assisted the Sunnyvale Raiders as a volunteer football coach for the past eight seasons. He also founded and coached the Sunnyvale PIPS, and coached Sunnyvale’s elementary basketball team.
Dr. Quinn, along with his wife Dr. Chelly Quinn, helped to found the Raider Pride Booster Club (RPBC), and currently helps organize RPBC events such as the Sunnyvale Fun Run.
Drs. Joe and Chelly Quinn’s veterinary business, Town East Galloway Animal Clinic, will partner with SISD by teaching and mentoring CTE Veterinary Technician students during their clinical rotations.
