You are invited to attend the 6th annual Sunnyvale Marching Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 6th, 2018.  We are very excited to host this event on our newly updated and enlarged Sunnyvale ISD stadium with more seating and facilities than previous years.  Our synthetic turf SISD Stadium is a perfect venue for the smaller schools band (1A – 5A) that desires to be evaluated by an experienced and award-winning panel of judges.

The contest will run on a prelims-finals UIL Area judging format.  All groups will be judged in music, marching, general effect, percussion, and color guard.  Each band will receive comments, a trophy for participation, and a DVD with video and audio of their performance.  Also, awards will be presented for Best in Class Winds, Drumline, Color Guard, Drum Major, and then 1st,2nd, and 3rd placement overall.

Sunnyvale High School is located in Dallas County just east of Mesquite between I30 and Hwy 80.  The stadium is convenient to restaurants, shopping, and hotels.  However, no need to even leave the stadium since our band booster will offer a variety of concessions.
