• Mrs. Stokes' Class Expectations

Punctuality- Students are given four minutes between each class rotation. Due to the close proximity of the classrooms, students have plenty of time to get to class. Students in the hallway without a pass after the bell are considered tardy.

Food, Drink and Gum- Gum is not allowed on the middle school campus at any time by students, faculty, or staff. Food and drink (including water) are not allowed in classrooms, and must stay inside students’ lunchbox if there is food left over after lunch.

Supplies- Backpacks are allowed in class, but must be kept under desks so they are not a tripping hazard. Students should have pencils, pens, scissors, glue stick, highlighters, and a pencil sharpener with them at all times. Map pencils, markers, dry erase markers, lined paper, construction paper are for community use and will be kept in the classroom for all students. Notebooks are to stay in the science classroom at all times, unless requested for studying.

Restrooms- Students should utilize their passing periods to go to the restroom as much as possible. Only 1 girl and 1 boy are allowed at the restroom at a time. Students will receive a restroom pass with 3 free chances to go to the restroom each 9 weeks. Once students use up all of their passes they will pay tickets to go during the class time.
