Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Jessica Cull
I was born in Austin, Tx to my parents Steve and Donna. Both of my parents are band directors, as well as my uncle, and my grandfather! My sister, Jancie, received her doctorate in French Horn performance in 2015. Music runs in my blood! In high school, I was a 3-year Texas All-State bassoon player. I also played alto saxophone, electric bass, and bass drum with the marching band. I went to college at the great University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'Em!) and graduated in 2011. During my final year, I was President of the University of Texas Fencing Club. *en garde!* Post graduation, I took a 3500 mile road trip out to California and back. I visited *deep breath* Guadalupe Mountains State Park, Carlsbad Caverns, Canyon de Chelley, Zion National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, the Glen Canyon Dam, Las Vegas, Santa Monica, CA, San Fransisco, CA, Yosemite National Park, Moab National Park, and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. WHEW! I am newly married to my wonderful husband, Charlie, and we have a stubborn young pup named Ella.
Some of my favorite activities are reading, writing, drawing, playing any of the eight different instruments I can play, crochet, swimming, fencing, and sometimes playing video games. I am entering my fifth year as a music educator and I'm ready for a lifetime more!
