Degrees and Certifications:

Liz Beauchamp

I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Dallas area public schools for 17 years.  I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma in December, 1997.  I then moved to the Dallas area to attend graduate school at the University of Texas at Dallas.  I received my Master of Science Degree in Communication Disorders in August, 2000.

I began my speech-language pathology career in Mesquite ISD in August, 2000 as a Clinical Fellow (CF), and was awarded my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) in June, 2001.  I continued my career in Mesquite ISD for three years, then began working in Dallas ISD during the 2003-2004 school year.  I have worked in Dallas ISD for the past 14 years.

My family and I purchased a new build in Sunnyvale in February, 2016.  We commuted our son, Max, to Sunnyvale ES until our new home was completed in October, 2016.  He recently graduated Kindergarten and is currently in first grade at Sunnyvale ES this 2017-2018 school year.  We recently welcomed our sweet daughter, Minnie, into our family on October 11th.  We are so excited to be a part of the Sunnyvale community, and plan to live and retire in Sunnyvale while our children attend Sunnyvale ISD schools.

I am ecstatic to begin my first year in Sunnyvale ISD as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist.  I will work with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
