“So, what did you do at school today?”

    “Nothing.”

Most parents have heard this at one time or another. Our kids come home from school and although we know they’ve been busy learning in their classrooms all day long, they only offer a brief, one-word answer: “nothing.”

In reality, what our students are doing daily in their classrooms is really something. In fact, the work they do each day is everything.

Our Raiders are problem-solving, questioning, communicating...

and sometimes just thinking about their work.

Our teachers provide our students with the foundations for their futures, which is everything.

We understand that our parents don’t get to see what our students are doing in the classroom daily. That’s why we’re hosting a new event called the
Academic Showcase. Our parents and community members are invited to catch a glimpse of what our students do best, day in and day out - learn.

We’ll also be hosting several special parent breakout groups designed with parents in mind. We’ve created sessions based on parent feedback.

Come and check out the innovative projects and assignments our Raiders are tackling. To get a schedule of the evening’s events, be sure to download our new district app on the Apple iTunes store or the Google Play store.
