Welcome to Sunnyvale ISD Child Nutrition Dept. web page!

It is the number one priority of the Sunnyvale Child Nutrition Department to ensure that all the students who patronize our cafeterias are met with positive, friendly and caring servers who offer nutritious, appetizing meals.  It is also our goal to help the children of Sunnyvale ISD learn to make healthy food choices and better understand the concept of portion control through nutrition education.

The Sunnyvale ISD CN Dept. is operated under an agreement with the United States Department of Agriculture as over seen by the Texas Department of Agriculture to provide wholesome, nutritious meals to our students under the regulations of the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program.  It is the responsibility of the Sunnyvale ISD CN Department to comply with all United States Department of Agriculture rules and regulations in regard to these programs.
