Hello Raiders! My name is Kristi Ream and I am thrilled to begin another exciting year here in Sunnyvale ISD! :)
I currently serve as the Transition Specialist for the district as well as the Diagnostician for Sunnyvale High School and Sunnyvale Middle School. I love working within all aspects of Special Education and have a passion for helping others and making a difference. I have two Master's degrees, one in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce and one as an Educational Diagnostician. I also hold a current Principal Certification. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Texas; majoring in Communications and minoring in English. In addition, I am certified to teach Special Education grades K-12, and have been working with students in Special Education for over 16 years now.
I am a proud Sunnyvale resident, and have lived here in this great community for over 10 years now. I am happily married to my best friend, Jack (who is also my middle school sweetheart), and we have two beautiful daughters. McKinley (16) is in the 11th grade at the high school and Trinity (10) is in the 5th grade at the middle school. My family inhabits most SISD campuses, so you will find a "Ream" almost everywhere.
I am honored and blessed that God guided my path to work in this incredible school district 6 years ago, and look forward to continuing my career in SISD for years to come.
