Hello Raider family!

My name is Ulices Mena, and I am grateful to be entering my third year as a teacher at Sunnyvale ISD. A bit about myself, I graduated from Auburn University (AL) in May 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I grew up in a small town in Alabama called Oneonta my whole life. In my spare time, you could find me doing the following: playing basketball, reading, or at the park with my dog, Bruno. I also really enjoy watching movies, going to try new coffee, and traveling to new places! 

I am so humbled to serve the Sunnyvale Intermediate school as a 3rd grade ELAR teacher. I enjoy the perspective that comes with teaching reading and storytelling.
