Hi, my name is Spenser Adams, and I am happy to be here at Sunnyvale for my tenth year! I teach all agricultural science classes here at Sunnyvale High School. The courses that are offered are designed to lead towards a student being able to receive certifications in, as well as and explore numerous fields of agriculture. All students in my courses will be required to keep an up to date record book and a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) project. These will be continued throughout the year, and will be important part of their grade.
I graduated from Tarleton State University in 2009 with my Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Services and Development and a minor in Communication Studies. I also received my Master's degree from Tarleton, in Agricultural & Consumer Resources. BLEED PURPLE!
I am married to Mrs. Adams, the Algebra II teacher here at SHS and we have a beautiful one year old daughter named Adalynn.
In the classes that I teach, students not only learn about the specific agricultural subject, but they learn and develop skills that they are able to utilize no matter what they choose to do after they graduate high school. One of the things that they learn is the importance of always being prepared by always having something to write with.
