• CHOIR FORMAL - Ladies

    Dress

    • Keep choir dress in the garment bag on a hanger hanging in a closet.
    • If you have wrinkles, put in the dryer on low. If you have a steamer, that will do a fantastic job. An iron is not recommended unless you can put it on the lowest temperature with a towel on top of the dress. 
    • Please DO NOT do any alterations of your own! Please contact Mr. Hickman or Ms. Craggett if you have an issue that needs attention.
    • Please DO NOT use fabric glue to make any quick fixes or alterations, again please let Mr. Hickman and Ms. Craggett  know what the issues are. 
    • Please DO NOT use a STAPLER to staple a hem.
    • Permanent STAINS and DAMAGES to the uniforms will result in a charge for the uniform cost.

    Shoes

    • Black dress flats are required for concerts. Please do not spend a lot of money on the flats. They will wear the shoes no more than 5 times a year. Target, DSW, Walmart, and sometimes Family Dollar are a few suggestions that have great deals. 
    • Black running and tennis shoes, converse, vans, and any other shoe is NOT acceptable for formal concerts.

     

    CHOIR FORMAL - Guys

     Tux

    • If you would like to dry clean your shirt and pants for each concert, please feel free to do so. Mr. Hickman and Ms. Craggett get them dry cleaned every year. 
    • Shirts can be machine washed in cold water and dried in the machine on a warm setting (NOT HOT!) 
    • Ironing the shirt is ALWAYS greatly appreciated before a concert.
    • White undershirt are mandatory for concerts. Feel free to wear a white shirt inside out and backwards if there's any graphic on the white t-shirt.

    Shoes

    • Black dress shoes are required for all our formal concerts. They will wear these shoes no more than 5 times for the year. Feel free to wear older brother’s, dad’s, father’s, uncle’s shoes. Black tall socks are a requirement as well. Ankle socks are NOT allowed. Black athletic socks or dress socks are permitted.
      • Mr. Hickman has an assortment of dress shoes in the class. If getting dress shoes are not something that can happen at this time, please check out shoes to use for the remainder of the year.
