    Notice is hereby given that Sunnyvale Independent School District, hereinafter referred to as the School Food Authority, intends to examine alternatives to its present food service program. No intent should be construed from this legal notice that SFA intends to enter into a contract with any party for alternative food service unless, in the sole opinion of SFA, it is in SFA's best interest to do so. All costs involved in submitting a response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) shall be borne in full by the party incurring said cost. SFA reserves the right to accept any proposal which it determines most favorable to the interest of SFA and to reject any or all proposals or any portion of any proposal submitted which, in SFA's opinion, is not in the best interest of SFA. The offeror to this RFP will be referred to as the FSMC, and any contract that may arise from this RFP will be between the FSMC and the SFA.

    Cost-reimbursable proposals will be received until Monday, April 16, 2021 at 3:00 PM for supplying Sunnyvale Independent School District with food service management services during the school year of 2021 - 2022, with options for renewal of the Contract for four (4) additional terms of one year each. Competitive sealed proposals are subject to all the conditions and specifications attached hereto and will be received in the office of Sunnyvale ISD 417 E. Tripp Rd. Sunnyvale, TX 75182 and shall be marked on the envelope "Food Service Management Proposal # Sunnyvale ISD 2021-2022" and also marked on the envelope with the bidder's return address. Additional information required to adequately respond to this RFP may be obtained from SFA's business office telephone 972-226-5974. Inquire to Rhonda Martin, CN Director. Offerors must submit a complete response to this RFP, including all certifications, in order to provide a responsive proposal. Contracts entered into on a basis of submitted proposals are revocable if contrary to law.

    A meeting with interested offerors to review the specifications, to clarify any questions, and for a walkthrough of the facilities with school officials will be on Thursday, March 3rd at 9:00 AM. Location: Sunnyvale ISD 417 E. Tripp Rd Sunnyvale, TX 75182. Attendance is mandatory.. Vendor presentations will not be scheduled at this time.

    Opening will be at 3:01 PM (CST) Monday April 19, 2021..Proposals will not be accepted after this time. All Proposals are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Food Service Management Proposal # Sunnyvale ISD 2021-2022.”
