Mrs. A. Jacobs

Hello, I am Mrs. Adlena Jacobs. My family and I adore the country side and outdoor activities. My husband and I enjoy parenting our daughter and son through vacationing and homesteading. I love gardening and watching green things grow. Our family loves to explore new things and learn about each experience.

I teach and coordinate the CTE SHS STEM program. We offer courses in Principles of Engineering, Scientific Research and Design 1, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and Practicum in STEM. I am a veteran to Sunnyvale ISD, and a graduate from North Mesquite High school. I have Bachelors Degree in Physics/Mathematics and a Masters in Higher Education Administration. I have worked in the Industry before entering into education and love engineering Education.

We have so much great things happening in Sunnyvale STEM engineering department that will assist our students to explore industry opportunties and certifications. We have partnerships with Project Lead the Way, Systems Go with a Boeing, Space Center Houston SEEC, Performance Pulsation Control (of Sunnyvale, Texas), Texas Instrustruments and exploring so much more in our community.

We are growing our FAB LAB with new machines such as laser engraver, 3D printers, and nomad CNC MILL machine. These machines will assist with our real world focused cirrciulum to infuse engineering students with industry experiences to add more value to their resume.
