Hello! My name is Debbie Barineau, and I am so thrilled to have your child in my class this year.  It is going to be an incredible year.  This is my first year at Sunnyvale Intermediate School, and my twenty-sixth year to teach. I graduated from Harding University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education in Reading.  I am beyond excited about being a Raider, and I look forward to meeting you.

     My husband, Mike, is a teacher/coach in Royce City. We have two daughters. Caroline is studying law at Belmont University. Camryn is starting college at Blinn in College Station.  We are officially empty nesters!

     Teaching is my passion, and my goal this year is for your child to be successful , challenged, excited, and confident about learning.  Our classroom will be a warm and inviting atmosphere, where your child's strengths and weaknesses will be embraced.  This is an exciting time to thrive academically, socially, and personally.  I look forward to respecting your child as an individual and encouraging them daily to reach their goals.  With your partnership, this will be a year to remember.
