Thank you so much for visiting my page! I am so thankful and excited to meet all of my students and parents. My name is Christopher Purdy and I am new to Sunnyvale ISD this year.

For the past five years, I have been teaching ELAR (Reading and Writing) in Ferris, Texas-but feel extremely blessed to be a new member to the Sunnyvale team. 

I am a happily married husband and father of a teenage daughter and we live in Dallas. This is my ninth year of teaching and I hold a B.A. in Communications from University of Texas at Arlington.

Teaching is essentially my second career and it is one I take extremely seriously. I look forward, on a daily basis, to aiding young people in their future dreams and success. I feel honored to be a part of that plan and always remind my students that I am truly here for their benefit.
