Hi everyone!

My name is Allison Wilkins and I am the agriculture education teacher, as well as the Sunnyvale ISD FFA advisor! I graduated from North Forney High School, where I was an active member in my school's agriculture education & marching band programs throughout my entire high school career. I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with my Bachelor's of Science in Animal Sciences, with a pre-veterinary medicine concentration, and a minor in microbiology. I then completed an alternative certification program through iTeachTexas, where I became certified in  grades 6-12 Agriculture, Food, & Natural Resources.

I was an active member in both my high school FFA chapter & the collegiate FFA chapter. I served as a high school chapter officer for 3 years, was on the livestock show team (showing goats & steers), participated in numerous LDEs & CDEs, & received my Texas FFA Lonestar Degree in 2017. In college, I was on the beef cattle show team for 2 years and participated in various community service projects throughout my college career.

I'm super excited about starting the school year and being at Sunnyvale ISD. I can't wait to get to know my students, along with their families, & to foster a love for agriculture in my students, just as big as mine.
