HOWDY RAIDERS!

My name is Nicolas Fletcher and I am excited about starting my second year at Sunnyvale ISD and fourth year in education. I am thrilled to be the lead educator for the SMS STEM-PLTW program.The STEM program is an inclusive space that fosters learning and collaboration for students to grow. Last year I started the Project Lead The Way Program and I couldn't be happy with the students involved in this program and their success.

I grew up in Copperas Cove, TX, studied Biological Chemistry and Education at Austin College (Sherman, TX), and started my teaching career in Lubbock, Tx. I was privileged to teach at Smylie Wilson Middle School, and open Commander William C. McCool STEAM Academy for the inaugural year.  

In my free time I am with my family, traveling the country, rockclimbing, or playing tennis.
