    Mathematics

    The program shall:

    -provide students challenging real-world problem solving opportunities.

    -provide students with opportunities to utilize 21st-century skills, specifically: critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity.

    -provide learner-centered experiences that relate mathematical concepts to students' varied interests and characteristics.

    -deliver and ingrain fundamental mathematical problem solving strategies that will equip students for high school, dual-credit, and college success.

    Students shall:

    -increase numerical fluency skills.

    -develop self-guided problem solving strategies.

    -employ technology to creatively solve real-world problems.
