Welcome!

I am excited about continuing my journey with SISD. I have been teaching since 2007. I began my career with Garland ISD, then moved over to Sunnyvale ISD in 2015. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 1st grade. This will be my fourth year teaching 1st grade here at SES.

I grew up in the Mesquite/Sunnyvale area. My family moved to Sunnyvale when I was in high school. My two younger siblings are Sunnyvale alums! I graduated from Potet High School, then went to Texas A&M Commerce where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies. 

I currently live in Taly with my husband, our 3 kids, 3 dogs, and 1 turtle. My kids attend school in SISD. My daughter, Kalyn, is a junior at SHS, our son Colt is a 4th grader at SIS, and Caiden is in our employee pre-k program. When I am not at school, I enjoy family time, shopping, and Mexican restaurants! 

I look forward to a wonderful year with my newest first grade bunch!
