Hey there! My name is Cara Craggett and I am thrilled to be starting my fourth year in Sunnyvale ISD and 9th year in education. I love getting to be a part of the SMS choral program. This is a fantastic program where students have a place to belong and I have loved seeing it grow through the years. Last year I started the Platinum Show Choir and it is an absolute joy to lead that group. It is a joy to get to teach choir every day and help students create together and be a part of something larger than themselves. 

I grew up in Dallas, TX, studied piano and voice at Howard Payne University, and have lived in various cities in Texas teaching music in private lessons or in the classroom since graduation. I recently finished my masters in counseling, which I am so excited to begin to utilize. 

In my free time I am with my friends, travelling the world, or training for some running or triathlon event. 

I am looking forward to amazing year!
