Mrs. Melissa Walker
Hello, Raiders! I am looking forward to a wonderful school year with you as we embark on a new adventure! I grew up in Sunnyvale and attended schools here from 3rd-8th grade. It is an absolute blessing to be able to come back and teach in the district I love and have so many fond memories! This will be my 25th year to teach social studies, and my 11th year in Sunnyvale. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and I received my Master's degree in Secondary Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
My husband also works in the district at the high school, and we have been married for 20 years. We have two boys in the district, Brixton (11th grade) and Greyson (7th grade). I enjoy spending time with my family playing games, riding bikes, attending football games, and traveling.
