Welcome!

I am excited to be starting my 17^th year of teaching! I began my career with Mesquite ISD in 2006, then moved over to Sunnyvale ISD in 2013. I have taught Kindergarten, 1^st and 2^nd grade. This will be my 10^th year in Sunnyvale and I am excited to be in 2^nd grade once again!

I grew up in the Mesquite area and graduated from Mesquite High school. I attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated from there with a bachelor's degree in education. I completed my student teaching in Austin before starting my teaching career in 2006.

I currently live in Rockwall with my husband and two year old son Jackson and our two dogs Bevo and Bella!

I look forward to a wonderful year with my new second graders!
