The 2022-2023 school year marks my 20th year as an Elementary General Music Specialist and my 6th year serving the students of Sunnyvale Elementary School. 

I received my Bachelors in Music Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and teach with an emphasis in both Orff-Schulwerk and the Kodàly approach to educating children.

I love spending my days reading, singing, dancing, and playing instruments with your children. It is my hope that when they leave my room they will see the world they create as something more beautiful through their participation in it. 

I have been married for 20 years to my best friend, Mr. Jeremy Stout. He is currently, a 4th and 5th grade Science teacher at Sunnyvale Intermediate School.

When I am not in my music room I can usually be found reading piles of books, scrapbooking, making cards, Mickey ears or jewelry, journaling, painting, off on a local adventure (I love museums, zoos, and aquariums), or playing with our Australian Cattle Dog/Black Lab mix, Daisy.
