The newly passed Texas House Bill 1481 prohibits students from using personal electronic communication devices at any time during the school day - both instructional and non-instructional periods - while on school property. This law will take effect on September 1, 2025, and applies to all Texas public schools.

Attention, Raiders! For everyone’s safety, the SISD baseball, softball, and tennis areas will be closed until further notice as we complete work on our net systems. Please stay clear of the area while improvements are underway.
Additionally, work will soon begin to turf the Sunnyvale Middle School field. The SMS field will be closed during construction. This project is a partnership between SISD and the Town of Sunnyvale to benefit both our district and community youth.
