📣 Schedule Update:
To allow our staff, students and fans to travel safely, Sunnyvale ISD will be closed on Thursday, April 9. This day will be traded with Friday, May 1, which was previously scheduled as a no-school/prep day.

All year Ms. Kathy Underwood’s GT classes have been exploring various kinds of structures, and during the current unit, students are diving into the world of feudal structures.
Students researched the feudal system, learned about castles and class hierarchies, and are now bringing history to life by building villages, towers, and farms in Minecraft! 🏰🌾
🗣️ “I like how we can work together and be creative in how we learn. We got to explore castle structures and use that knowledge to build our own steady kingdom ; everyone has a role!” - Addy Simpson
🗣️ “GT is more challenging, and I really like that. I’m the lady’s maid and Addy is the queen — we have to make sure our kingdom fits our roles!” - Aubree Matthews
🗣️ “I like GT because we get to collaborate and do fun challenges. This project is great because we’re all playing a game together and learning about medieval times.” - Joe Shulz
These GT learners are truly showing how creativity and collaboration can make learning come alive! 🌟
