Want to know how Sunnyvale ISD really works? The Raider Ambassador Academy is back, offering community members an inside look at the district through eight evening sessions this school year.
Participants will learn about district operations, finance, teaching and learning, the role of the Board of Trustees, and more, straight from the people who lead that work. Sessions begin October 19 and run through February 22, meeting in the Board Room at the Administration Building, 417 East Tripp. Most meetings start at 7:00 p.m. and last about 90 minutes.
The academy is limited to 30 participants. Applications are due Sunday, October 11, and all applicants will be notified by Tuesday, October 13.
