Beginning August 13, 2025, students will not be allowed to use personal communication devices during the instructional day, from the first bell to the last bell. All personal devices must be turned off and put away.
This update follows Texas House Bill 1481, which requires school districts to adopt a policy prohibiting student use of personal communication devices during the school day.

SES and SIS Students will visit their home campus at 5:00 p.m. - and ending promptly at 6:00 p.m. - to obtain their teacher information and then join the rest of the district at the high school for all the fun at Rowdy's Reunion.
PLEASE NOTE: In order for students to pick up their schedules, ALL ONLINE FORMS must be completed.

The newly passed Texas House Bill 1481 prohibits students from using personal electronic communication devices at any time during the school day - both instructional and non-instructional periods - while on school property. This law will take effect on September 1, 2025, and applies to all Texas public schools.
