You may have noticed the recent presence of an ambulance in front of Sunnyvale Elementary School this morning. Emergency medical services were called to the school to assist a staff member who was experiencing a medical issue. We want to reassure everyone that the situation was handled promptly and professionally by our school staff and emergency responders. The staff member received immediate care and has since been transported to an area hospital for further evaluation.
We are grateful for the swift response of our school personnel and the emergency services team, which ensured that the individual received the necessary attention without delay.
In accordance with new legislation, every Sunnyvale ISD student is required to have a signed parental consent form on file by September 1 in order to provide access to vital school services, including health care from nurses, counseling support, and athletic training.

Sunnyvale ISD will no longer accept cash at the gates for athletic events.
All gates at Raider and Lady Raider home games for middle school and high school JV and Varsity contests will be cashless. Card payments only will be accepted at the gate.

I encourage you to visit your child’s classrooms, engage with your students, and learn more about the exciting learning experiences we have planned. Together, we can make this year one of growth, achievement, and joy for every student.
A few quick reminders for this evening: This is a come-and-go at your convenience event. You can walk your student’s schedule, get contact information, and ask general classroom questions (we’ll have an opportunity on October 8th for actual sit down conferences where parents can ask more detailed and specific information regarding their student if needed). There will be maps provided at the front welcome table. Please be sure to download the Sunnyvale ISD app for easy access to your student’s classroom, the parent portal, and our SMS e-news updates. Students, to help with the flow of traffic tonight, please follow the same one-way hallway routes that you use during the school day.

This Saturday, August 9, starting at 8:45 a.m., the Sunnyvale Raider Pride Marching Band is marching through town for their annual March-A-Thon fundraiser and parade!
The parade begins at 8:45 a.m. in Stone Canyon (entrance to the pool) and ends at Vista Park Pool in Stoney Creek around 11 a.m.
