🎉🍬 Holiday cheer was in full swing today at Sunnyvale ISD! 🍭🍬
SISD administrative staff and campus leaders made special visits to classrooms—spreading smiles, sweet treats, and plenty of festive spirit. Teachers and staff showed off their holiday socks, sweaters, and other festive apparel while enjoying a well‑deserved thank‑you treat for all the joy and hard work they bring to our students every day.

🗳️✨ Today, our SIS third graders stepped into the shoes of school board members for Thirdville, a special SIS tradition that teaches civic responsibility. Students, with the help of SISD Board President Brad Cravens and Superintendent Matt Kimball, debated budget items (like a new bus), weighed community input on extending recess, and learned how board decisions are made, even when votes aren’t unanimous. They also asked Superintendent Kimball great questions about construction updates and more.
👏 We're proud of our young leaders for thinking critically, collaborating, and discovering what it means to serve our school community.
