Check out the latest E-News for important January dates. As we move into the winter months, colder temperatures may bring inclement weather and challenging driving conditions. To help you stay prepared, we’ve included information about our inclement weather procedures.


Sunnyvale ISD campuses and offices will be closed through January 5, a staff trade day. January 6 is a student holiday and staff development day. Classes will resume on January 7. We look forward to welcoming our Raiders back in 2026!

Raider Drive will be completely closed in front of the new multipurpose activity center beginning tomorrow (Friday, Dec. 19) afternoon. Traffic will only be allowed to enter and exit from the south to access the fieldhouse, stadium, and Sunnyvale High School cafeteria entrance. Traffic will only be allowed to enter and exit from the north to access SES, tennis, softball, and baseball. Please plan accordingly. Thank you for your understanding and patience as construction continues on our new construction!

Sunnyvale Elementary held its first-ever Miss Texas event to recognize teachers and staff for their outstanding efforts this year. Students and staff assembled in the SES gym on Thursday, Dec. 18, to celebrate this recognition.
