This morning Viafy had a server reset which caused delays in the bus tracking app. They expect data to catch up within 4-6 hours. We appreciate your patience as this is outside our control.

Starting this afternoon, Bus 16 will resume service to Robin Ridge and Deer Creek neighborhoods with adjusted drop-off and pick-up times.
Starting Wednesday, Nov. 5, Bus 27 will depart at 7:00 a.m.

🚓🚒 Planned Visit by SPD & SFD
On Wednesday, Oct. 29, Sunnyvale Police and Fire Departments will visit Sunnyvale Middle School after enjoying lunch on campus.
Parents and community members may notice police and fire vehicles at our campuses during this time. This is a scheduled visit and there is no cause for concern. We’re thankful for our first responders and the partnership they share with our schools! 💛💙

Then, get ready to cheer them on in the first round of playoffs this Thursday, Oct. 30, against North Lamar High School at Sherman High School — game time is 7 p.m.

On Monday, October 20, Sunnyvale ISD officially broke ground on our 2024 Bond projects! The ceremony marked an exciting milestone in the district’s ongoing commitment to enhancing facilities and supporting student growth.💙💛
Mayor Saji George, Council Member Manu Danny, Interim Town Manager Bill Vegas, members of the SISD Board of Trustees, Superintendent Matt Kimball, Facilities and Finance Committee members, SISD staff, WRA Architects, Gallagher Construction, students, and community members gathered on the practice field between the fieldhouse and the softball field to celebrate the start of construction.
Following the ceremony, Superintendent Kimball shared an overview of Phase 2 projects, which include:
🏫 updates at Sunnyvale Intermediate School
🚍 construction of new transportation facilities
👩🍳 a Culinary Arts/Professional Development and Childcare Center at the administrative complex
🏗 renovations at Sunnyvale Elementary and the Alamo
Phase 1 construction will begin soon and includes:
🏫CTE addition
🔬science lab renovation
🏐🏀auxiliary gym
🏢multipurpose Activity Center
🚧fieldhouse renovations
🎵expanded band parking
🅿️and additional parking areas.
