Dear SISD Families, The newly passed Texas House Bill 1481 prohibits students from using personal electronic communication devices at any time during the school day - both instructional and non-instructional periods - while on school property. This law will take effect on September 1, 2025, and applies to all Texas public schools.
Sunnyvale ISD is developing guidelines to ensure compliance.
